Jenny's work is honest, open, vigorous, intentional, and sometimes raw. The artist's current work grew from prior investigations concerning space, texture, color, aged areas, and confined spaces, poignant and actual. Sometimes her work may be frank and exposed, or jewel-like nebulas, fragments of matter. She uses color, shape, form, objects, and texture to express this. Davis works in various disciplines: painting, drawing, sculpture, assemblage mixed media, and writing. She loves the excitement and challenge of delving into unknown areas and learning new techniques to enrich her pieces.
